Yes, we needed something for the heavy beerdrinkers in Ecaussinnes... so Hugues brewed a five degrees blond top- fermented beer, but still with a nice taste.

Love the label and name combo. Would have loved to see this in an US-brewery version since I think most belgian beerlabels seem to have been made with microsoftpaint.... Anyways, Pours clear blonde, no real white head. Smell is mildly dry and has some grains. Taste is mildly bitter, with a natural grainy tasteprofile. OK mouthfeel, overcarbonated. Very common kind of beer

With ’soif’ meaning thirst, it is obvious from the start that this one is intended as a simple blonde thirst quencher of low ABV, as there are many around. It bears a rocky, off-white, irregular head and orangey yellow robe, hazy, completely clouded with deposit. Fruity aroma of orange, mango, banana, flowers, soap, coriander, cheese, straw and some unpleasant solvents, even a bit ammonia-like, luckily fading away after a while. Fruity and citrussy, fresh onset, light sourish wheat, sweet pale maltiness, dryer in the finish with a medium long grassy hop bitterishness in the finish. Ordinary - but quenching indeed.

Bottle at home. Very pale golden colour with little head. Pronounced peach aroma which strangely doesn’t carry through to the taste, which is earthy, slightly hoppy and sweetish. Unusual beer, not really strong enough to be a blonde. Very good though.

Clear goldblond coloured beer with small white head and lots of carbonation. Yeasty aroma.

Clear blond colour. Quite high carbonation. Bready, yeasty aroma. Light grainy taste with a touch of citrus and yeast. Well balanced and refreshing.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, white head. Minimally spicy yeasty aroma, fruity hints of melon and apple. Taste is slightly grainy, minimally fruity, a spicy yeasty touch. Unspectacular.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

Goud/zand kleurig bier. Zeer troebel vol met gist. Geur is nihil. Smaak is zeer mat en geheel doet waterig aan. Op basis van uiterlijk had ik er meer van verwacht

Bottle. Yellow, hazy. Corny malty nose, some dough. Body medium, soft, blond pale malts. Some citrus, almost wheaty malts. Ok, but nothing special. Drinkability good though.

Beesbeer (450) - WALES - JUN 17, 2013
Very very fizzy in pouring, but the head disappears quickly, so that the drinking was actually quite flat. Not sure how interesting the beer was. Gentle. Some candyfloss over hay and grass wheat flavours. Clean dry finish.
