My Bottom Line:
Roasted coffee beans, flowers and citrus fruit coalesce in this very nice Session Black IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam laces atop the darkness.
-Malts also give burnt bread allusions.
-Mouthfeel is on the dry side, which increases drinkability.
-This is quite good with goat cheese!

Bottle.

Very good, light-cream head with lace over faintly russet-lined black beer. Liquorice, lots of dry hops, quite a bit of ureum, black mushrooms and asafoetida. Ultra-dry, ashy flavour with a very light underlying malt sweetness, but finishing again light bitterish; dry and ashy. Light to medium bodied, bit slick, seems indeed ash-filled. Very dry black IPA - and good. 7/4/7/3/14

A black IPA very similar to a Guinness at first sight with smooth, soft texture and low carbonation. Surprisingly easy to drink, staying below 4%abv. Aroma and taste of chocolate and coffee, very roasty and stout-like mouthfeel.

Nez: Chocolat, agrumes, résineux Bouche: Chocolat, mandarine, résineux Une BIPA, très légère, avec de belles notes chocolatées qui sont accompagnées par des notes de mandarine et de résineux avec une amertume douce et une belle longueur.

Bottle at home, 16th September 17. Pours black, some head. Aroma is roasted malt, citrus and cocoa dust. Taste is impressive for the extreme low ABV, roasty, bitter citrus hops, good balance. Lovely.

Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht bitter en droog.

Deep dark looks with decent whitish head. Herbal smell. Some milk coffee starts off soon overtaken by roasted malt and herbal/wood bitterness. All that with a dash of acidity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared. Surprisingly nice for the abv, tasty pineapple touch, gentle roasty base. Not my thing usually but definitely gets extra points for its sessionability.
