Best before 2014-09-08. 4 finger tan head, red-brown body. Nose: Caramel, malt, raisins, dates and notes of whiskey. Taste: Fudge, raisins, prunes, caramel, dates, smoked notes, hint of whiskey and malt. Long semi-bitter ending.

Bottle. Clear amber body with a short offwhite head. Aroma is malty with caramel, mild smoke. Taste of nuts, toffee, dark malts, mild yeast esters and a touch of dark fruit. Warm bittersweet finish.

Bottle @ home, aged 2 years. Pours a brown color with a large & lasting beige head, no lacing. Aroma is sweet, malty & grainy with caramel & dark fruits that has some vinous notes, dark bread, treacle & dark sugar, vanilla. Sweet, medium to big mouth feel with high carbonation and a drier finish. Flavors of caramel, dark vinous fruits, rye & hard rye bread, treacle & dark sugar. Some herbal & orange peel bitterness, increasing vinous raisins, fruity coffee and notes of chocolate in mid-taste. Finish has a note of smoke & tart peat, ripe plums, earthiness, oak and a diminishing bitterness.

(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with lasting, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dark rye bread, dried fruit, treacle, chocolate, coffee, hints of smoke and a touch of rowan-berry jelly. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit, prunes, coffee, orange peel, dark chocolate and a finish with a balanced spicy bitterness and a touch of alcohol. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and quite well balanced for its strength. Very nice.

Dark brown coloured, has an off-white head, medium duration. Roasted aroma, crisp and notes of fresh water, faint alcohol too. Delicate flavor, roasted bread, faint caramel and milk, yeasty notes too. Warming alcohol.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy vinius aroma. Moderate biter nice flavor. Some smoke and kandis in nice balance. Average long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Doften är maltig med inslag av blåbär och spya. Krämig och alkoholvarm. Lite smak av toffee och kanderade toner. Rund och len. Lagrad två år.

Söt, maltaromatisk doft med inslag av choklad och torkad frukt. Alkoholen slår igenom något. Mörkt rubinröd färg och ett snabbt försvinnande skum. Fruktig smak med en anstrykning av tjära. Tungt maltsöt med viss komplexitet samt en värmande alkohol. Toner av trä och ett lätt rökighet också. Fyllig kropp, välavvägd kolsyra och en lätt oljig viskositet. Eftersmaken är behaglig men något kort.
