UPDATED: MAY 5, 2024 500 ml tapped, this is the unfiltered version. Unclear golden with a creamy head. Grapefruit zest, resinous herbal hops, metallic notes, sourdough, stone fruit, hay. Hoppy zesty bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, hoppy zesty metallic bitter fruity finish. A very crisp hoppy Kellerbier, very tasty!

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2023 Draught(Bayrischer Anstich)@Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm. Bayrischer Anstich. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is herbal, some wooden, nutty and sweet maltiness. Flavour is sweet malts, mild floral, herbal, wooden and toasted notes. Lovely taste.

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2022 Tap at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm, 15th November 22. Pours a hazy orange, aroma is floral, grass and hay. Taste is bitter, grassy, floral, really bitter finish, and great refreshing linger. Lovely beer

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2022 (Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20220619) The beer poured golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, fruitiness, metal, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy and bitter. A delicious and balanced brew.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2022 Tap (One Pint Pub, Helsinki) (7:4:7:4:15=3.7) Rich gold, self-supporting tight off-white head. Amazingly perfume floral aroma, backed by some soft malts. Rich grainy malts, husky bitterness. Soft palate with gentle carbonation. Nice biting bitter finish - quite brutal! Amazing lager. The bitter tingle lasts forever.

UPDATED: APR 16, 2022 I Sampled as B Knoblauch Schammelsdorfer Lagerbier Ungespundet/B Draught /I Very creamy, dense, stable, cream-coloured head over cold hazed golden beer. Fresh yeast notes, bit sulphury, as an open fermenting vessel. Notes of fruity esters (pear, banana, quince,...) and fresh white bread. Very good bitterness, I herb /I. Malt underneath, not much sweetness, but lots of bready notes. Yeast, but nowhere an underfermented hint. Some banana notes left, and any sweetness is biscuity. Yeastslick, good carbonation, light to medium bodied. A necessary drink to reappraise how beer really ought to taste. Down with all vanilla, tonka, crème brulée and other marshmallow stouts!

UPDATED: APR 12, 2022 Tap @ Pardaf, Antwerp. Cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, chalk and moderate hoppy - grass and spicy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Great lager you could drink all day. 120422
