UPDATED: MAY 27, 2023 Can. Hazy deep brown color with a medium thick foamy beige head. Aroma of coconut and cocoa. Some roastiness. Flavors are peat and coffee with notes of vanilla. Quite dry taste, some bitterness. Medium to full body.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2023 Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is coconut, some sweet chocolate and mild lactose. Flavour is chocolate, some coconut, sweet malts, mild toasted tones with some milk chocolate as well. A wee bit of vanilla when it warms up.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2023 Dark brown on black can to pint pour @Oscar Blues Brevard. Sticky lace everywhere. Sticky coconut rice, toasted pineapple, strong acid. Shredded oily coconut, strong vanilla, sweet char, big acid. Surprisingly easy to drink. Way lighter perceived abv, no fumes, a little thin. Really tasty.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2023 I had it from the can. It's brown with a tan head. The aroma coconut and chocolate. The taste is the same with some earthy hops and milk. The coconut subtle enough to not overpower the chocolate and bitterness. It's got some nice creaminess. This is good.

ABV: 6.5%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted - roasted, chocolate, coconut milk, artificial. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, coconut, coconut milk, dak malt, chocolate, artificial. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20230209]

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2023 a sweet malty porter with flavor of coconut. somewhat creamy just beyond milky and a very sweet aroma. perhaps some vanilla and some caramel that i do not find as dark. fuller body perhaps 6 on a scale 1-10. bit of nut rind. some kind of chemical and there may be some cocoa in there.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2022 #1 Beer Republic advent calendar. Murky dark brown with a creamy head. Lots of coconut, chocolate, toffee, licorice, roasted malt, metal, fudge, citrus, robusta coffee. Dry bitterness, chocolate sweetness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bittersweet finish with a metallic coconut finish. Very tasty, not overly sweet!
