UPDATED: MAR 11, 2022 330ml bottle [thanks Bernd!]. Slightly cloudy, dark yellow-ish to orange, golden colour with average, frothy, stable, minimally lacing, white head. Rather weak, yeasty fruity aroma, hints of yellow stone fruit, apricot, mirabelle, a touch of protein, herbal-spicy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish and spicy malty, yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy, hints of yellow stone fruit, apricot, mirabelle, increasing spiciness with light ginger and liquorice root aspects, salmiac pastilles. Watery texture, rather indifferent, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather sweet but still balanced, nice mixture of of fruity and spicy aspects - not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2021 Dark blond to amber in colour. Aroma and flavour have a sweetish herb or spice that is not to my taste. Maybe it's Gale or Bay Leaf or soapy green cardamom.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2020 33cl bottle. A slightly hazy golden beer with a mid-sized good lasting off-white head. Aroma of strong yellow fruits, pale malt, yeast. Taste of yellow fruits, strong pale malt, champagner yeast, some grapes and apples.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2019 My bottle had only 6.8% and a different label. I guess the info here is wrong. You can say this is one of the many Duvel rip-off. You can also say it is a nice and drineable beer for a party or an evening at the bar.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2019 Goudgeel bier met witte schuimkraag. Citrusfruitig en tintelend op de tong. Lichte geur van sinaasappel en platte land.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2019 Dégustée je pense dans sa version brassée pour une école locale. Une bière blonde, translucide, avec un nez essentiellement malté et sucré. En bouche, elle dégage une bonne effervescence et révèle des notes de céréales et de sucre, avec une finale plutôt sûrette.
