UPDATED: FEB 16, 2024 500 ml can #11 from the 2023 Costco Advent calendar. Pours a semi-clear pale yellow color with a white head and great retention. Great lacing too. Standard pale malt aroma. Pretty standard pale malt flavor too with a light bready finish and a hint of honey. I don't think I would have identified this as a Helles. No sulfur notes. Very clean and smooth. Just a well made lager. Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation. Not bitter. Good beer.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2023 Bottle from Hops and Crafts Exeter . Pours clear gold with a frothy white head . Aroma of fresh bread , grass , lemon and spicy pepper. Taste of more white bread , some cracker , hay , dough , lemon and spicy pepper. Light bodied with a smooth slightly full mouthfeel and good carbonation. The finish is dry and bittersweet with more bread, spicy pepper, lemon , cracker & hay. Decent Helles!

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2023 From advent calendar. Bright gold and pretty white head. Nose is bready and some honey. Tara’s of honey, dough, grains, some florals and gum. Light bodied and creamy.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2023 50cl clear gold with some wispy white head. Nose has honey, grist, light dough. Flavor is the same really, honey and flowers and light dough. Medium bodied. Straight down the middle.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2023 The aroma is light and grainy mostly grassy hops. The appearance is hazy gold with a large head. The taste is like the aroma and fairly light. The pallet is smooth from carbonation. Overall a very sessionable beer.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2023 Can. Pours a clear light golden hue with a medium white head. A grainy nose. Sweet biscuit, honey, some soft malt. Solid. Clean.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2023 Pours a clear yellow with a full white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is grassy with a slight sweetness. Body is medium. Taste is sweet malt and bread. Bitterness is light. Finish is dry with a mild lingering bitterness. 500ml can BB Y 3/25 (!) As with all the Costco US 2023 Beer Advent Calendar this seems excessive for sessionable ABV levels. This beer is not found in the 2023 TX Beer Advent Calendar.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2023 Bottled, 500ml from the Beer:Shop, St. Albans, Herts (loving the labelling on this!). Gold with white head. This is a fairly sweet, malty beer, some biscuit, some light lemon / lime, some grass. It's fine and a new brewery for me.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2023 Clear pale gold with a decent white head. Faint aroma of malt and grain. Taste is sweet, honey, malt, bread. Reasonable, tasty Hell.
