Taste: tart, tangy, sour, vinous, sherbety, marmalade, dried fruits, lightly warming. Medium body with fine carbonation. Nice

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2020 Bottle, from the brewery. Poured amber, low carbonation, not much foam. Sweet and tart, malt and a winery fruitiness. Tart and dry in the finish rather than bitter. Interesting.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2020 Liquide rougeoyant, un peu fané, plat et sans mousse avec des arômes très marqués de bois, des tons acétiques avec du cidre, des cerises et noyaux, vinaigre balsamique. C'est mieux au goût, les saveurs sont plus douces et fondues, le malt est puissant, le gingembre présent, l'amer boisé, avec aigreur et ranci.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2020 Vintage 2016. Calvados Barrel Aged. Mala butelka nieco ponad 300ml czyli niemal tyle ile punktow mial Kubacki w klasyfikacjio. To wino jeczmienne jest urzekajaca, w pierwszej chwili slodycz jablkowa, cydr odmiany doux po chwili sie pojawia ocet winny, kwasowosc, taniny, winogrona slodkie zmieszane z octem. Fajny balans. Wyglad nie ma nawet zerowej piany, wyglada jak wino gronowe o czerwonej barwie, lekkim refleksem jasnego brazu. Pachnie beczka, bardzo wilgotna i stara beczka, nie ma piany ale to piwo wyraznie placze. Termin uzylem specjalnie i nie bez powodu bo blisko do dobrego wina, a ci co choc srednio znaja sie na winach beda wiedziec o co kaman.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2019 Hazy brownish amber colour, practically no head, only some off-white lacing; aroma of acetone, woody, balsamic acidy, herbal medicinal, and slight biscuity and orange zesty notes; taste of acetic acid, syrupy-malty notes, some citric acid, caramel, biscuits, minimal tannic acid or tanned leather and dried apricot; lile a mixture of a wild ale and a malt dominant barley wine - really good

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2019 Bottle at the BD Castlegate Share. It pours cloudy burnt orange with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, tangy, juicy, orangey, marmalade, tangy and juicy fruits. The taste is tart, sticky, tangy, sour, juicy, tangy, vinous, sherbet, marmalade, orange wine, vinous, light acidity and some warming alcohol with a tangy finish. Medium body and fine, tangy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Tasty and fun.

ABV: 9.68%. Hazy medium amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide, sweet malt, dried fruit, tart, aceton. Flavor is moderate sweet, light to moderate acidic and acetic (vinegar) with a long duration, vinegar, aceton, dried fruit, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180920]

Bottle, many thanks anstei! Hazy brown-amber color with white head. Aroma is caramel, apple, light funk. Taste is apple, caramel, raisins, light tartness. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Sour Barleywine, why not? :D
