UPDATED: AUG 15, 2022 Bottle at home in NH. Pours clear honey-hold with a small, foamy white head. Nice aroma, notes of plum, wood, slight funk. Lightly sweet with assertive plummy tartness, moderate acidity, white pepper, some woody dryness. Light to medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Raced up finish, pleasantly drying and quenching, background wood, lemon, tart plum, more peppery accents. Outstanding.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 375 ml. Slow clear golden pour. Flavor is tart plum, notes of lemon juice and oak. White wine hints, lightly oaky character. Subtle plum without question. How much did this change in 2 years?? It must have.

Bottle at the source before FoFA. Hazy copper with foamy white head. Light plum and tannins, stone fruit acidity, mineral spring, lots of plum skin but not much flesh, seems woody and somewhat boozy, full body and moderate carbonation, quite dry.

Bottle thanks to Sam. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong plum skin, oak, funk, cheese. Thin body, sweet plum, funky, oak, rubber, nice tartness, really enjoyed this.

Bottle shared with Paul and Kevin (thanks man!) Pours a light golden blonde body with active white lacing. Incredible nose of sour limeade, tart candies, passionfruit and sour oak. Mouthfeel is effervescent and tart with key lime pie, sour plum and oak character. Very nice.

375ml bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead taster. A~ glowing light orange with a tiny white head and no lacing. S~ lemony and a little acidic at first that went away pretty quickly as it aired out a bit. barnyard, hay, brett, and wine barrel funk up front followed by a rush of plums along with the seeds and skin. black/white pepper on the end. aroma builds as it warms. T~ not acidic here! but more of a lemony lime tartness which mixes nicely with the plums. otherwise follows the nose with all around amazing plum flavor! its like really eating a plum, you can almost feel it! also very interesting how you get the funk up front and the fruit sweetness on the backend. delicious after taste for daysssss!!!! M~ smooth with great carb! refreshing! O~ wow! just wow! definitely my favorite Arthur iteration. but it is definitely more in your face than Art, doesn’t contribute the same soft and delicate mouth feel as even Arthur Puncheon. but the fruit is perfect! seriously amazing all around!

375ml pours a rich orange golden color with a hint of blush and a finger of white foam. Nose is ripe acidic plums, rhubarb, blueberry, lemon, wheat and vinous wet oak. Palate is sharp and full of fruity pebbles flavors of berries, stonefruit and ligth tropical undertones. Layers of fruit with a sharp tartness that mingles a bit with some bitter tannic plum skin that lingers with some spicy pit earthiness as the finish dries out and lingers.

Bottle, Lots of plum flavors throughout, from aroma to finish. The background of plum blankets over the beer with some of art peeking through. Subtlety, I am getting berries, herbs, sharp tart, vanilla. Very interesting finding these little flavors in there.

Poured from a bottle into a sample tulip glass: Pours lightly hazy golden with, a little pink tint, with a white head. Aroma is plums, oak, wine grapes, funk, and light rubber. Taste is very tart, lots and lots of plum, some white wine, and some funk bitterness. This is exceptionally good, and really tart (which I enjoy). Medium body, slightly acidic, tasty.

375 mL bottle. Just a little hazy golden. Has a slight tinge of color. Smells of plum, oak, strong acidity, and a little white wine. Tastes very plummy. Tart plums. Oak. Strong tartness. A little wine. Just a bit of that grainy Arthur character. Low carbonation. Medium body. Almost masks the Art complexity, but even if the plum is strong, all the flavors are still there. Had this a couple times. With yeast, it smells and tastes like rubber. Very clean without it, so pour carefully.
