Beese (17225) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2020UPDATED: MAR 19, 2020 12oz bottle from Vieux Carre Wines & Spirits, New Orleans, LA and drunk on 07/07/2008. Hmm... I really, really liked this golden ale. Refreshing, good malt body and nice perfumed hop nose. Maybe it was just me?
MarkSachon (1279) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 27, 201812 ounce bottle from the sampler case. A bit more tart than similar types but overall crisp and refreshing. Better than average.
NikkTwist (6130) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2018UPDATED: AUG 14, 2018 Draft at Moriartys. Orange pour. Appears to be an old keg. Malty golden ale with tropical fruit. Mango. Orange. Spruce. Wheat bread. Still has some spark. Spicy hops but smooth. Not complex but not bad.
BeerRenter76 (1097) - Texas, USA - MAR 19, 2016Originally rated on 7/22/08. Beer no. 2 out of my 12 pack sampler, poured a nice well carbonated body, white 1 finger cap. Flavor and aroma was a mix of a few hops, and sweet malt, a decent balance but slightly bitter. Overall not a bad beer but i probably wont try it again.
willisread (7331) - Detroit, Michigan, USA - MAY 10, 2015Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Clear straw color with a modest white head. Light aromas of malt and grain. Watery and thin bodied light beer. Not much flavor to speak of, but easy to drink and refreshing on a hot day.
slowrunner77 (19964) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 15, 2014"fizzy yellow beer...doesn’t arrogant bastard warn us of such beers? a combination of a brewer i don’t particulartly care for and a style i don’t care for = a pretty sub par beer. Huge surprise.
eduardovl (1832) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 330ml bottle served in a chalice.
A: Pours a pale golden clear color forming a big white bubbled aired head. Low retention and only few lacings left
S: Smell is the best part. Quite refreshing. Malty and hoppy. Bit herby and skunky
T: Follows the nose. A mild beer in all aspects. A nice malty backbone. Hop bitterness is also quite light. Well, 16IBUs. A bit metallic too
M: Light but creamy body. Medium carbonation. Light bitterness
O: Reasonable beer. Quite drinkable
