COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Pannepot Reserva was an idea from my brew colleague Carlo who wanted to age Pannepot in genuine French oak barrels (barrique 225 liters). We have brewed 90HL at the end of 2005 which has been aging on oak ever since (14 months). 30 Hl was bottled Tuesday 8th May 2007. 60Hl has been transferred now to second hand calvados oak vessels and will be bottled again early autumn 2007, we will name that batch Pannepot Grand Reserva. As quality and results rule at Struise, the Reserva was already brewed again and aging on oak.

HopsLove6 (336) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2021 Awesome beer. Mine was a 2012 beer bottled in 2015 and drank in 2021. Well active head, fizzed away and disappeared quickly. Somewhere between a stout and a strong ale. Full on dark fruits and malty flavours. Vinus and a little sourness. Great beer.

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2021 Great beer. I have drunk Pannepot Reserva 2018, a dark strong ale, bourbon barril aged for some months. A excelent balance between flavours and houblon quantity and quality.

TeLaDoIoGegia (136) - ITALY - APR 5, 2020
UPDATED: APR 28, 2020 Reserva 2017. Caramello, nocciola, lieviti, malto tostato, frutta rossa, alcol, vaniglia immersi in un frullato di legno e cioccolato. Complessa e appagante, equilibrio inspiegabile. Birra Gegia.

2.8
ElDesmadre (6597) - Jaworze, POLAND - MAR 22, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2020 Bottle. Vanilla, dry wood, marzipan, dark grapes, port wine, nuts, raisins. Notes of vinegar that don't work well in such a malty beer in my opinion, diminishing the body and cutting through its complexity.
