UPDATED: MAR 2, 2022 Sampled at Max's Belgian Fest 2022, pours a clear, watery amber with no head. Nose has fall fruits, figs, malt, candy. Flavor has some rootbeer or cream soda, malt, some fig. Sweet finish.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2021 Bottle from Delhaize. Clear amber, small, off-white head. Aroma of red apple, peanut, almond, biscuit, pear, plum, vague red cabbage. Taste has sweetish apple & pear over biscuity & caramelly maltiness; slightly herbal hoppy in the finish, grainy, nutty, subtle fruit notes. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Drinkable, not much too it.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2019 Ein klassisches Belgisches mit den richtigen Weihnachtsgewürz-Aromen und feinen Rumtopf-Noten im Abgang. Gute Ausgewogenheit zwischen Alkohol, Früchten und Keksteig. Ein bisschen fehlt mir eine Eigenart des Biers, welche mich sagen lässt 'Ha, das ist das Artevelde, das wird mein neues Lieblingsbier!' Nochtsdestotrotz ein wohlschmeckendes Getränk.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2018 On tap. Amber colour, clear, frothy head disappears afer a while, fair lacing. Malt, some banana. Light bitterness. Light body, refreshing. Very good.

Bronze slightly hazy no head. Malty aroma. Malty, little prickly mouthfeel. Thirst quenching Belgian ale. Simple and easy drinking. This style is definitely suited for this hot summer weather.

Robe caramel claire, fine mousse blanche. Nez céréales et miel. Attaque douce, trop sucrée, malt et caramel. finale très légèrement houblonnée. Bonne carbo, corps léger, longueur moyenne. Ale belge trop sucrée, maltée, manque de caractère.
