alexsdad06 (17973) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 16, 2020UPDATED: OCT 16, 2020 This is a backlog rating from 2013 from a bottle shared by Tmoney99, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time, work and/or family. Words to describe this beer are pale malts, citrus, grassy, dry finish, orange and lemon, ok.
JPDIPSO (6618) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - APR 30, 2017Golden color with a modest off-white head. Very light aromas, with some honey, citrus, floral perfume, and light toasted bread. Pale malts and and clove honey in the flavors. Finish has a generic bitterness which dries things out and at the end it seems flavorless. Refreshing, but not fulfilling. 2/12

vomit (363) - USA - JUN 15, 2016Wyld hey? Not nearly as wyld as that wily Teuton from foreign shores known as VAL FUCKING BLATZ! That man was truly & verily WYLD. Crazy WYLD. He was the Chuck Yeager of continental brewers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. That MOFO was KRAZY WYLD. If he would have been on a plane that had snakes on it, those verminous little bastards would have jumped out on a suicide mission to avoid his righteous wrath.....errr...where was I going with this? Dunno. This beer is OK, just don’t expect it to be comparable in any way, shape or form to the original WYLD beverage of bacchanalian mayhem: BLATZ!

tderoeck (14777) - Gent, BELGIUM - NOV 9, 20158/X/15 - 12Fl. Oz. can @ home - BB: V/14/15 (2015-1455) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the can!
Clear blond beer, small creamy aery head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, malty, honey. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: rather sweet, some citrus, bit grassy, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: some citrus, honey, bit sweet, malty, caramel, nice bitterness. Pretty ok for a beer past date, kept it into account though when rating, so gave it a little more than it actually tasted.
ogre71 (359) - Utah, USA - OCT 12, 2015This was an okay American pale ale was a bit dry and bitter, but still drinkable.
ElManana (2078) - Scheldewindeke, BELGIUM - OCT 8, 2015Can at tderoeck's place. Malty, light hoppy, good pilsener/lager, but for an american pale ale, it falls too short.
