COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the Brasserie Dubuisson’s renowned Scaldis Prestige, Scaldis Prestige de Nuits is aged in oak barrels for six months. But Prestige de Nuits is made of Scaldis Noel aged in Bourgogne barrels from the world famous "Nuits St. Georges" vineyard. The result is an ale of extraordinary complexity and depth. Bush de Noël, ripened for 7 months on wine casks from Burgundy (Nuits-St.-Georges).

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2020 De Cervezasespeciales. En copa Grimbergen. Jugando a Spiderman.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2020 So intense, but also sweet. Like grandma’a hug,two tigers play fighting, or Keanu Reeves attempting to play a romantic lead. 2016 edition

PlutonowyMan (1717) - Baardegem, BELGIUM - FEB 4, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2020 Kolor ciemno bursztynowy, może nawet bordowy, opalizujący. Piana barwy ecru, wysoka, o średnim czasie redukcji.

Zlotta (7055) - Hagen, GERMANY - DEC 15, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2019 0.75 l bottle from former 'Bierzwerg' web shop, 2013 vintage, cellared for almost five years. Clear, ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-vinous and a bit sourish aroma of red wine, oak, raisins, prunes and some caramel. Quite sweet, malty, gently fruity, moderately yeasty-spicy and a bit vinous aroma of chocolate, caramel, raisins, prunes, oak, some red wine and a touch of overripe banana, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, a little woody-tart, gently yeasty-spicy, quite vinous and a bit boozy finish. Medium to fully body, minimally astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Complex, sophisticated and moreish, a real gem, perfect for Christmas time, just great!

PowY (3371) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - OCT 31, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2019 750 ml bottle at home, vintage 2016. Pours a hazy dark copper with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, red wine and oak - biscuit, caramel, honey, brown sugar, toffee and hazelnuts. Medium-full body with a soft to average carbonation, a light to medium sweetness, a light bitterness, a notable woody tartness and hints of alcohol. The barrel notes are very dominant in the flavor - lots of red wine and wood, toasted sweet malt, bread, lots of dark fruits, raisins and brown sugar. Finishes relatively dry, with more red wine and wood and a light warming feeling. Pretty good with a very distinct barrel character. Aroma: 8 Appearance: 4 Taste: 8 Palate: 3 Overall: 16
