Message harrisoni P beers 25368 º places 68 º 14:56 Fri 6/28/2013 OK the 3F was best beer of the day. No surprise there. Mozart was the best music just beating out The Wedding Present. I mean "just" I mean easily. But I enjoyed revisiting some The Police songs. Patti Smith’s vocals on R.E.M.’s Blue was pretty special too. And the Louis Armstrong of course. People remember him from later in the 20th century but the stuff from the 20s and 30s was sheer brilliance. See some of youse in that there London tomorrow.

Message Fin P beers 17282 º places 1653 º 11:51 Sun 6/30/2013 Today I’ve had 3 Fonteinen Intense Red Oude Kriek following reading Ian’s rating yesterday and then Taras Boulba, Zinnebir another Taras Boulba and La Crecelle Ambrée accompanied musically by Balthazar - Rats (Balthazar are a Belgian group), Explosions in the Sky then Campervan Beethoven now listening to The Waterboys - An Appointment with Mr Yeats. I have to conclude like Ian yesterday that the 3 Fonteinen Intense Red Oude Kriek is todays beer of the day.

Message harrisoni P beers 25368 º places 68 º 12:36 Thu 7/11/2013 I had this beer this evening http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/la-fromulus-biere-de/56535/20036/ and I don’t know about you, but if you’ve not had a straight up estery Belgian Ale for a bit, you get completely blindsided by it. Yes, I guessed what it may be like, but the yeasty esteriness of this beer and the peppery hops on the finish surprised me. After drinking a lot of German and British cask stuff it’s so nice to have something so different. It was almost like having a Belgian Ale for the first time ever. Nice beer anyway. Beta Band is back on the rotation. Oh dear. Hypnotic. Must eat some food. Anyone out there this evening?
