OK the 3F was best beer of the day. No surprise there. Mozart was the best music just beating out The Wedding Present. I mean "just" I mean easily. But I enjoyed revisiting some The Police songs. Patti Smith’s vocals on R.E.M.’s Blue was pretty special too. And the Louis Armstrong of course. People remember him from later in the 20th century but the stuff from the 20s and 30s was sheer brilliance. |
started off with weird beard i didn’t finish yesterday, then brupond honey’d wheat and now zombier |
Today I’ve had 3 Fonteinen Intense Red Oude Kriek following reading Ian’s rating yesterday and then Taras Boulba, Zinnebir another Taras Boulba and La Crecelle Ambrée accompanied musically by Balthazar - Rats (Balthazar are a Belgian group), Explosions in the Sky then Campervan Beethoven now listening to The Waterboys - An Appointment with Mr Yeats. I have to conclude like Ian yesterday that the 3 Fonteinen Intense Red Oude Kriek is todays beer of the day. |
Good lineup. Just had left hand fade to black v4 and finishing evening with a weird beard holy hoppin hell |
Finishing off with a De Dolle Arabier, got a fair few of De Dolle’s stashed away and they are great beers, however you can really pick up the De Dolle trademark touches. |
Today I have mostly been drinking cider. ooh aah (In a West Country farmers accent) |
I had this beer this evening |
Now onto a very pretty bottle of a screen print of the Burg in Bruges |
I am going to drink our brand new bottles that just arrived today! |
An infected bitter from white park is my current bottle. Better for the infection I’d say, like a mild lambic flavour. |
