Typical liquor store ambiance; half the store is wine, a quarter liquor, a quarter beer. Service is good, not overbearing, but not sure how much they know about their product as I was not really helped. Selection is solid, good variety, but nothing a whole lot different than what you would find at other good bottle shops around town - Proof and Fermentation Market. They do have a back stock that post dates the aforementioned though, including things that run out quickly. They seem to have less beer centric buyers and more typical liquor store customers. Good place with average prices for the area.

Pretty good liquor, beer and wine store on the north side of town. They stock pretty much the same things Liquor Loft does with some random things here and there. A big plus for this store is that will always have the freshest Cigar City beers. If Liquor Loft doesn’t have any of the standard CCB stuff you’re sure to find Jai Alai, Maduro & Tocobaga here.

Very impressive liquor store- very large with a cigar humidor and lots of helpful, fun to talk with staff. Very nice Scotch and bourbon selection. Had in stock my favorite Scotch, Ardbeg Uigeadail. Beer selection was not bad- some weird stuff like Cigar City/Bruery collaborations, Ghost Face Killah chili pepper beer, some weird New Zealand stuff. Other than that, lots of typical craft stuff: DFH, Sierra Nevada. This area of Florida gets a ton of Sweetwater beers so I reckon they are pretty fresh. Most of the bottles in the middle of the store can also be found refrigerated in the back. I walked out with 2-3 bottles of things I had never seen before. Overall, probably a good place to stock up on good beer for the weekend. For finding special releases, probably not. Prices were quite good coming from DC area.

Great selection of liquor, decent selection of wine and craft beer. Some good finds to be had hiding in the coolers and out on the floor, but definitely should use caution when looking at the freshness of IPAs and such. Prices are fair on most things, and all in all a nice place to stop off and check in on.

Gone here fairly regularly for many years. Used to be the only game in town for bottled craft beer. Their prices reflected that and are still on the high side. They get most of the usual new micro release, but not a lot of the harder to find ones. Seem to always have a lot of old stock sitting around (could be good or bad depending on the style). Staff are friendly but not so knowledgeable about the beer.

Great little store. Well not soo little but cozy I guess? Seems like a mom and pop place. Lots of craft in all formats cold and warm six packs bombers 750’s of all kinds of stuff. They have somewhere near the selection amount wise of liquor loft but nowhere near the variety. Though i did find 2 single bottles of hopslam there that were just sitting on a shelf in the cooler 2 months after I saw the last drop of it in tallahassee. I paid form half of them with change from my buddies cup holder. Dont think the staff has ever asked me a question. But they are always friendly when I check out and they help me when I need it. Store knowlege not beer knowledge really. Prices are on the cheaper end .(if you like scotch paired with big stouts they have an amazing scotch selection)

Pretty good selection of beer and the staff has pretty good knowledge. Some staff tend to be rather condescending regardless of how knowledgeable you might be and often tend to not treat all customers with the same respect or concern...especially women and the under 30 crowd. As others have commented, careful about how long the beer has been sitting in the cooler or on the shelf. If Irish Whiskey and Scotch, however, are your thing, they definitely have the best selection in Tallahassee.

This is my favorite place to shop for beer in town. Good selection, but not the best in town. Staff is very knowledgeabe and friendly. They will gladly order any beer you want (as long as their distributor carries it). You have to pay attention to dates here. I’ve found awesome 07, 08 and 09 beers for regular price (120 minute, WorldWide Stout, Bigfoot, etc), but on the flip side I’ve also gotten IPAs that were not so fresh. They often have limited release beers hidden in the back...you must ask for them if you don’t see them. They often had the last couple bottles of a particular beer in a "reduced" section in the front of the beer area. I’ve gotten bombers for $1.99 on several occasions as they just try to get rid of it and free up room. Not much of a wine person, but they have a great selection and every time I have needed a wine, the staff have taken the time to help me find just the right one. Every wine they have recommended has been stellar.

It’s a liquor store that has liquor and beer. What more do you want? Has some good wine tastings and beer events from time to time.

I try and get into Market Square every once in a while just to see what they have. You have to go in there with the mentality that everything has probably been sitting around for months and that you shouldn’t pick up anything that wouldn’t age well. Prices are decent, what is expected in the town. Don’t expect any really special releases. Check dates on everything, their stock turns over like a fat girl that just ate an entire cake... very slowly. Don’t expect anyone to be able to help you find something, I asked if they had any Cigar City, and was told they had never heard of them. Oh well.
