Taste starts juicy tropical fruity and citrusy with strong malty backbone, following is herbal and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is warm and mild spicy, while finish is heavy bitter. Fin	3.9 Eel River Midnight Rider Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop Breda, Netherlands and consumed at home Saturday 11th November 2023 listening to Dreamwife - Social Lubrication and still making a Vanilla Ice Cream the Beef Rogan Josh is taking a little longer, Loz is making this, we're also making Onion Bhajis for the curry and Baked Apples to go with my Ice Cream. Pours hazy golden with a mid sized white head. Very much a West Coast IPA, crystal malts really making presence felt, there is some citrus with a little pink breakfast grapefruit but mostly its resinous, nice soft carbonation, very good. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some toasted, mild roasted and ripe fruity notes with some fudge to it. Flavour has pretty much the same elements as the aroma in a very smooth way. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Dull and flabby, but no major flaws. Thursday, August 4, 2022
brokensail	3.7 Eel River Unkindness On tap @ Eel River. Pours black with a tan head. Well, this is a big boy. Definitely get a heavy dose of rum and barrel on this. Some chocolate, vanilla, and plenty of oak. Pretty heavy on the roasted malts and maybe even a touch of char to it. Pretty good body. A nice, straightforward barrel aged stout. Sunday, July 31, 2022

Get notes of apricot, peach, orange, and grapefruit. Intense bitterness of pine and citrus rind on the finish. Malt profile is big on sweet toasted bread and caramel. Incredibly old school. Has kiwi, melon, strawberry, and passion fruit notes, but they're all kind of sweet and candy-like. Gelatin, cracker, grass, and bready malts. Minimal bitterness to this. brokensail	3.9 Eel River Anniversary Ale Twenty-Two Triple Exultation 2017 On tap @ Eel River. Pours a turbid mahogany color with a small off-white head. Nice bourbon aroma and flavor that gives a nice oak character as well as some bourbon and warming alcohol. Big toast, caramel, and molasses as well as some sweet fruit like figs, raisins, and dates. Maybe a bit of port and toasted marshmallow. A little bit thin on the body, but otherwise quite nice. Sunday, July 31, 2022

Kind of earthy and herbal, but does have a good bit of caramel, toffee, and dark fruits. Lightly woody and a bit of oily citrus. DenverLogan	3 Eel River Suspicious Cargo Pina Colada IPA From a 16 oz can dated 6/1/21 into a stem glass. Pours orange amber gold with head and lace. Aroma of coconut, pineapple, grains. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of pale malt, bitter roots, pineapple, some wet cardboard. Overall this beer has broken down in 8 weeks or was bad from the start, but in either case it's now not easily drinkable due to difficult bitterness and oxidation. Tuesday, August 3, 2021

Really smooth imperial ale. Ruby like appearance. Vanilla, barrel oak, dark fruits, and mellow whiskey notes headline a complex aroma. A flavor that refrains from being rich. Dark fruit, some wood. Plum like fruit, amd an intriguing dry whiskey finish. Vanilla late palate linger. Really impressed with this beer. Worthy of anniversary celebration for sure. Excellent brew. Sunday, April 4, 2021

Aroma of nice vanilla and coconut bourbon barrel booze notes, with dark fruit and molasses, a touch of earthy oxidation, and notes of sherry. Taste follows, sweet from the booze and malt and barrel, a touch of earthy bitterness from burnt sugar and oxidized hops, with a boozy finish. A little bit unrefined, but not bad. Taste follows, sweet fruit and wheat notes with a touch of tartness from the acai to balance, mild earthy bitterness.
