St Peters Winter Ale
0.5 l bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Appearance is dark ruby (black). Aroma is cognac with spices. Taste is like Irish dry stout with roasted malts, but this is supposed to have lots of hops. There is also some sweetness from the malts or alcohol. My flask didn’t seem to be well balanced at all - too much bitterness.

St Peters Cream Stout
Bottle from systembolaget. Nice little burnt brown foam that disappears. Initial tastes of camp fire air, macadamia nuts, slight vodka hit at times. Tasty; I think it would make a good cask ale, so looking forward to having it again hopefully at the fabulous Jerusalem tavern. Manages the balance of bitter and sweet nicely and provides the tastes of an imperial without the tongue scraping bitterness. Decent.

St Peters Dirty Tackle
Bottle. Pours a hazy chestnut brown with a slight ring head. Nose is sweet, fruity, and smoky, with elements of date syrup and dried figs, opening up into some salinity. On the tongue, it’s like someone added dates to a brown ale, which is not a bad thing; it’s a bitter with training wheels, designed to suck Americans into the wonderfulness that is English beer. I approve. Finish is rich, soft, and clean, with nut and mushroom elements. I like it. I’d drink more.

St Peters Without
Bottle from a St.Peter’s brewery event at Russell & Newnes, Aldeburgh, Suffolk. Thought I’d give it a try. Pours deep chestnut brown with an average sized off white head. Aroma is very malty, sweet, touch of light fruit and nut. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Malty/gassy/syrupy finish. I suppose as low alcohol beers go it’s ok but certainly doesn’t encourage me to give up proper beer.

St Peters Mild
Pours very dark brown (almost black) with a dense white head that shows nice retention and lacing. Aroma has gently roasted and chocolate malts, and maybe a touch of fruitiness. Taste shows a bit of malt sweetness with a gentle milk coffee feel (quite milk stout like). Light chocolate. Gentle roasted malts notes to bring balance. Again, maybe a fruity hint. Sweetness and bitterness are overall both mild and in good balance. Light bodied with light carbonation, easy and decently silky mouthfeel. Very much doing it’s job in being an enjoyable mild. Quite nice.

Goudgeel, helder, heel weinig koolzuur, snel zakkende schuimkraag. Aroma: Graan en zoete mouten , iets gerookt, boter, brood/biscuit. Smaak: Behoorlijk gerookt, zoete pale mout, karamel, graan.
