Menorman714 (33) - Gambrills, Maryland, USA - MAY 31, 2017Initial coffee bitterness offset somewhat by a smoother almost toffee flavor. Very still newer even for a brown ale. Not my favorite, but to be fair, was served considerably colder than it should have been

Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - APR 19, 2013Slutfest! Dark brown, clear, nice head. Aroma is doughy and a touch of pepsin. Flavor is a really nice brown. Good stuff, not spectacular, but nice. Flavor similar to aroma.
Drake (21771) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - APR 13, 2013Bottle shared by Butters at Slutfest 4. Pours a
clear dark brown color with a thin tan head.

Butters (4067) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 13, 2013Sampled at Slutfest 4 - Sexytime! Dull brown clear pour with. Malty caramel and toast, but with a burnt finish. Didn’t dig it too much. The name fit the festival, but the beer wasn’t too great
ej (1332) - Hauglandshella, NORWAY - MAR 31, 2013Brown pour, small tan head. Aroma of liquified toffee and caramel sauce. Taste is malty with caramel in abundance. Relatively low bitterness but, very well balanced. Light hints of roast and biscuits. Medium to medium-light body with medium to soft carbonation.
ClubGonzo (5677) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 31, 2013Bottle, shared with Bergen Beer Geek Tasting Crew. Pours a deep brown body with a small off-white head. Nose is deep toffee, dark fruits and caramel tones and not much else. But when the aroma is this good, who’s complaining? :-) Taste is caramel, licorice, grains, toasted bread and hints of nuts. Not at all as sweet as expected, with a dry finish with aniseed and licorice. Perhaps the aroma left me longing for a bit more taste, but it’s nice enough. Medium body and carbonation. Good one.
