UPDATED: JUL 24, 2023 Copenhagen 24/7 2023. 50 cl bottle from Edeka Center Bremen Hastedt, Pfalzburger Strasse, Bremen. Dark and golden label with what looks like an ancient stamp and some stylized hop flowers. Pours clear pale yellow with small white head. Settles thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of sourish grains. Sweet pale malts, bread, cereals and caramel. Sourish notes. Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, point, soft, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry. A German malty sweet brew with enough punch to make it worth my mile.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2023 Dal colore dorato brillante e limpido, si presenta sormontata da uno strato di schiuma abbondante, fine, densa, aderente ai bordi del bicchiere ma non particolarmente persistente. L’arome è intenso e caratterizzato soprattutto dal sentore di luppolo, seguito dal malto. Anche in bocca, dopo un attacco maltato piuttosto dolce, segue una intensa nota amara data dai luppoli che prosegue fin oltre la chiusura secca nel retrolfatto. Il corpo è equilibrato e morbido. Birra beverina e fresca, spicca per la qualità elevata degli ingredienti e della realizzazione, ma per i miei gusti personali l’ho trovata troppo amara, quasi astringente al palato.
