Sly Fox day at my house. Started with their Phoenix Pale Ale. Thanks Kerry. Then gonna have the last of the Route 113 IPA. |

Union Jack again. Had some on Friday and Saturday, and they felt heavier and more piney than usual, but now it’s feeling less harsh on the tongue with more grapefruit and more malt balance. I continue to be amazed at how quickly IPAs in particular can change with even slight differences in aging, temperature, resting time in the glass, etc. |
Deschutes Black Butte XXV. I dig the addition of the black currants and the light twang they bring to the beer. |

Gouden Carolus Cuvee Van De Keizer Blue. Holy bajesus, this may be the best Quad/Strong Ale I’ve ever had. Beautiful ale in a wonderfully etched bottle. I may have drank this too fast, it was just so smooth. |
