UPDATED: JAN 4, 2020 A deliciously malty brown with a full palate. Smells like Raisinettes. Chocolate and dark fruits mingle with toffee. A bit of warming alcohol hits on the finish. Its 8% and you feel all of it. Love the heavily long malty fade.

Only had the Downtown Brown about 2-3 times, but comparing this to that I believe this is a little darker. Maybe hoppier too. I like the balance quite well. Spices are working for me too. Flavor is roasty, caramal and chocolate malts. A solid seasonal winter ale. I haven't found a Loast Coast beer that I haven't liked. Looking forward to trying this again.

Bottle at home. Chestnut brown with beige head. Sweet caramel malts, light nuts, milk chocolate, twigs, strawberries, breadcrust, dried apricot. Over medium sweet and about medium bitter. Nice creamy and full body. Quite pleasant.
