UPDATED: AUG 3, 2022 Refrigerated clear flip top bottle poured into a clear. Clear amber with small white head. Aroma is rich apples, medium body, medium/light carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is apples, rum, wood, and a little booze.

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 A dark amber gold cider with aroma of sweet apple jam, light molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity apple mix with light acidity, light molasses and treacle, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at cidery.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2020 Really nice stuff. Not a typical cider drinker but this won me over. Strong notes of apple and molasses with a touch of bourbon. Not too sweet or tart. Pretty complex.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2020 Poured from the tap (12.5%). Clear amber orange. Sweet apple, hint of wood, alcohol. Quite nice.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2020 750 ml bottle shared by my daughter. Nose is tart apples with hints of vanilla and bourbon. Reddish gold with some light bubbles. Flavor is lightly tart with a little sweetness, vanilla, and bourbon.

750 ml bottle from Coal Harbor Liquor Store. Nose is tart apples, rum,and musty oak. Clear dark gold with a small, quickly disapating off white head. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly tart apples with a background of oaky rum. My favorite was the Bourbon Barrel Aged 2007, but this is extremely tasty.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2019 Aromas of fresh apple juice, fresh cut apples, apple pie, berry notes, pie crust, apple sauce, pears, champagne, chardonnay, oak, malted barley and sawdust. Taste fresh apples, intense apple cider, extremely dry apple cider vinegar, pear, oak, sawdust, pines, bourbon, malted barley, caramel, sandpaper, alcohol sugars, cane sugars, big booze, berry notes, pie crust, sharp champagne dryness, chardonnay and Riesling on the palate. Overall, a big boozy and dry cider with quite decadent barrel qualities. I love that you can taste the bourbon as its been lovingly imparted into the original cider via barrel aging.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2019 Clear orange with no head. Aroma apple, caramel, sugar, warming alcohol, lightly spicy with vanilla. Medium to full bodied, apple sugar and caramel flavors dominate with a warming yet refreshing finish.
