Grumbo (3493) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2017
Bottle courtesy of tricksta_p thanks Patrick! Pours cloudy deep amber/brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark fruit and malt. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is quite sweet. Enjoyable.

Bov (13004) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 17, 2017
courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - hazy brown beer with a fast collapsing head; estery and light spicy aroma with solid notes of ripe banana; full-bodied, sweet yet decently dry; spicy and ripe fruity finish with notes of brown sugar

JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - SEP 1, 2016
Medium yellowish head, fed by finely carbonated, hazy foxy orange beer. Sweet liqueurish nose, preserved orange, Mandarine Napoléon, toasted malts. Bitterish, malty, faint orange, and other fruit (medlars or quinces, maybe?). Sweet malts dominate without syrupyness nor stickyness. Bit spicy, yeastfeatures. Feels very carbonated. Quite slick, well-bodied. By no means a bad beer, no mistakes, but it seems to pull in different directions at the same time.

anstei (2471) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - FEB 1, 2016
Bottle at Monday Club Erzbierschof. Very nice aroma of pine and resin, almost glue. Flat and boring taste though, disappointing.

mutz (1092) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 16, 2016
Amberkleur, ok kraag. Moutig aroma, caramel, gedroogd fruit. Smaak is caramel, vaag likeur, bitterzoet, niet veel body.

33cl bottle at home. Hazy brown with a medium slightly off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium sweetness with some herbal bitterness. Caramel, malts, brown sugar, herbs, ripe fruits, raisin and herbs. An ok dubbel.

bonkiedeaap (789) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 15, 2015
Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht. The beer is amber colored and pours a large and unstable broken white head, average carbonation. The aroma is fruity, with tones of dried fruits. Also sweetness of caramel and some spiciness of cloves and nutmeg. In the background a little smoke is noticable. The taste is smooth, complex and bittersweet with a nice balance between sweetness and spices in the end. The finish is dry and light bitter and is long noticable. Very decent beer, but definitely not a dubbel, more a strong ale.

Lekkere dubbel die meer naar een quadrupel nijgt qua smaak. Vooral door het overrijp fruit. Mist wel wat body

Christos (5863) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUN 7, 2015
(Duits & Lauret TeVreden MMXIV) At Utrecht’s Beer Festival ’15. Red coloured body, hazy, off-white head one finger tall, with okay retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruits, red fruits, berries. Taste is sweet and fruity, som ebubblegum too, light grains Medium thin body, good carbonation. Refreshing beer.
