750ml bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead fest. glass.
A~ dark yellow with a bubbly head and no lacing.
S~ tons of fresh mangos up front with a little bitter mango peel. slight black pepper on the finish and nice brett funk!
T~ mostly just mangos, good mangos but... just mangos. brett wine barrel funk on the finish and a little acetone as it warms.
M~ like mango puree (not like Pizaa Boy hahaha!) smooth and nice carb.
O~ i don’t understand why people are saying this brew is so "complex" maybe i had a bad bottle but it was pretty one sided sadly... but don’t get me wrong i understand the praise! probably the first and only mango beer to be done "right" straight fresh juice with a little saison yeast funk. actual beer not sugar water! very well done! jredmond (10321) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 29, 2017

At Fofa in Vermont in August 2016. Light, very pale straw gold in color with a nice aroma of sweet tarts and mango. The taste is acidic, almost like pickle mangos. Kind of ascerbic in the finish but a really nice beer nonetheless. 3.9-4.0 RobertDale (9264) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - APR 15, 2017
