Notes from backlog. Keg at Beermoth. Nose is vanilla, vinegar, cherry. Taste is balsamic vinegar, raspberry, hint of lemon, cranberry, oak, vinegar. Chewy. Outstanding beer.

On cask @ Moeder Lambic Original, Brussels - BE. Color: clear dark brown beer with purple reflection, no carbonation, and medium white ivory foam. Smell: sour domination balanced with red wine barrel notes and sweet notes. Taste: full body with sourness and fruity explosion. Well balanced and quite drinkable. Good attenuation. Alcohol finish. Aftertaste: candied red fruits, wine barrel notes and sweet sourness. Great!

Tap at La Capsule. Shared with Aminatchime, but we took a second one since it was clearly to good to be left alone. Pours unclear amber, no real head. Smell is fleshy, sour, oak. Taste is very full, oak. Some aspects of the Vin Jaune ( very mildly so ) bit of ’glue’ (gets intenser as it warms up ) to me thats the only negative side to this beer, but it seems to be exactly this that most people love about these beers. Very damn nice ! intense sourness, full taste,great MF . LOVED it !

Bottle from Salud. Murky purple color, off white head, see pic please. Aroma of sour vinous plums, red grapes. Taste is tart vanilla, red wine, white wine, plums, raisins. Complex and characterful but tart and acetic.

Tap at Brassin Public® 2016. The acetone of the regular 2014 is toned down a lot by the white wine barrels, making this beer even more drinkable. Does not lack the punch of the Holy Good Dog. A bit stingy still. And still a bomb.

Bue à la pression en 25cl au brassin public de BFM à Saignelégier Couleur cuivrée, peu de mousse peyite effervescence Nez st Bonch’ Attaque St bonch acidz lactique puis quand ça se réchauffe on une pointe vin jaune moins poussée que celle de l’année dernière mais toujours bel équilibre final.
