UPDATED: DEC 10, 2019 Bottle. Reddish cloudy with decent head. Complex fruity sour nose with a hint of caramel (somehow - how?). Flavor is complex, earthy, not too sour or bitter, the amazing perfect balance of sweet & sour while still being massively fruity. Once of the best I've had of the style!

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2019 season 17/18 bottle (blend 40) opened on Thanksgiving. Bottle for Thanksgiving. Pours a clear pomegranate ruby color with a quickly dissipating finger of pink foam. Floral berry aromas with cherry blossom, raspberry coming on strong with subtle raspberry seed, earth, barnyard and musty aromas as it warms. A bit of sweat in there as it warms as well. Dry on the palate with tannic seed, light acidic sour flavors with young cherry and raspberry. A touch of dried honey in there as well. Easy drinking with a tannic, acidic finish coupled with bright berry and cherry flavors. Dry finish with slight aged vinegar notes. Very nice.
