UPDATED: JAN 26, 2024 Bottle. Nose is toffee,, hint of licorice, fruity, red berry and honey.. taste is toffee apple, brown sugar, berry, slightly cupboardy malt. I always over rate bocks because of my limited access. Delicious

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2023 Piwo barwy brązowej, nieznacznie zmętnione. Piana beżowa, niska, za to trwała. Zbudowana ze średnich i drobnych oczek, ładnie zdobi szkło. W aromacie ciemne chleb, czekolada do tego wyraźne nuty tostowe i opiekane. W tle akcenty toffi. W smaku pełne, treściwe i sycące. Sporo akcentów melanoidynowych oraz czekoladowych. Na finiszu niewysoka goryczka. Całkiem dobry koźlak.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2023 0.5l can from Spar. Dark brown body, beige head, pillowy, persistent. Aromas of chocolate and caramel. Maybe a bit also buttery. Taste is roasted malt, milk chocolate and caramel, with strong roasted bitterness in the aftertaste. Moderate carbonation, silky, oily palate with a hint of alcohol warmth. Altogether OK, but lacks complexity (proper bocks should have some fruity aromas and taste) and also somewhat unbalanced.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2022 5 October 2022. Bottle from Charbonier Motel in Singleton. The last place that I expected to find a German beer was at the restaurant in the hotel that I was staying at but sure enough I came across this, and a few other German beers. Maybe it was because of Oktoberfest because they also had a German menu going on.

Aroma is toffee, roasted malt, molasses, dark fruits, berries, chocolate, meaty gravy. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily sticky mouthfeel, average carbonation. Heavy going, quite chewy, good compared to other Dreher beers I've had but glad this was being shared.
