Also known as Organic Raspberry Handcrafted Fruit Ale
A product of England this is an ale brewed with raspberry juice and natural flavours added. Brewed at All Saints in Stamford Lincolnshire and blended and bottled at Samuel Smith’s Brewery. The finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation. This beer is blended with pure organic raspberry fruit juice and a previously cellared brew creating an unparalleled fruit ale. The smooth distinctive character of the matured ale serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

hauxe (4014) - Butzbach, GERMANY - MAY 27, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 27, 2023 Light red with a thin, white head. Fruit jam aroma, although closer to a mix of boysenberries, plum and raspberry than purely the latter. Has a light pungency to it. Taste is tart, sweet with lingering raspberry syrup on the tongue. Body stays fairly light, carbonation moderate to mild. Decent, but nowhere near the level of the great fruit beers I‘ve had from New Glarus.

hohops (2386) - Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 4, 2023
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2023 Appearance is ruby red, with a 2-3 finger full light pink head. Aroma is lots of raspberry, berry fruit, hedgerow hops, more fruit. Taste is lots of raspberry, strawberry hints, fruit crumble, some apple. Tasty and full-bodied. Some hop bitterness at the end.

LagerGuide122 (909) - - NOV 9, 2022
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2022 355ml bottle brewed in England at 5.1%. Clear, vibrant dark red with a good-sized, so-so duration light pink head. Thick raspberry piece aroma with rusky bread malt beneath; shades of Special K. Modest carbonation. Pale bready-rusky malt submerged beneath a little florally-tinted, vaguely earthy raspberry richness; sweet but not syrupy (more in the vein of a cordial), with a good raspberry deepness that really conveys the feel of the fruit itself. Good balance, but it's a raspberry beer that tastes like raspberry beer, so bear that in mind. If it's complex, it's as complex as a raspberry (and a fairly straightforward, but good, pale ale). For those after a good fruit-infused brew without it being outright sour, this and the rest by Samuel Smith are a fine choice.

theprof (4324) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2022
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2022 Poured red body pink lacing. Aroma of raspberry jam. Taste is medium sweet with lots of fruit and then a lightly tart finish. Medium bodied smooth texture and a pithy finish. Does what it says on the tin. Raspberry fruit beer.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2022 (Bottle) Pours clear red with tiny pale pink head. Lovely aroma of raspberry jam. Medium body with plenty of soft carbonation. Lovely taste which is full on raspberry. A great balance of tart raspberry and caramel sweetness. Very enjoyable.

dragnet101 (4507) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 10, 2021 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a deep red/purple with a small pink tinged head which lasts well. Lovely raspberry fruity aroma, not much beer elements on the nose. Taste of that wonderful raspberry, a certain creaminess to it in flavour and mouthfeel, quite sweet with a modest tartness, some grain notes in the background remind you its still a beer. Very good.
