Bortles would be stupid not to go. I doubt Johnson will be predicted to go too high, but he would jump if he can go in the first three rounds.
With that said, I’m not worried about the RB position. Stanback is a beast, and was only a true freshman this year. He’ll be better than Johnson, if he isn’t already.
We have competent backup quarterbacks, too. Certainly not top 5 draft pick quality, but still very good.
More concerning... of the 7 seniors on our team, three are starting offensive line.
We should be good again next year. We win the AAC, we go to a major bowl again. Iowa keeps praying just to make a bowl. |

The Outback Bowl is a better bowl than any bowl you’ve been to aside from the Fiesta Bowl this year.
