What a game. Probably the best game I’ve ever been to. "Sat" in the Noles end zone which ended up being pretty great at the end.

That’s a lot of SEC in that top 25. Only 234 days until kickoff.

Top 10!!! Only one loss, to #4, by 3 points.

Anyone want to tell me how Stanford manages to keep such a high ranking with 2 losses to unranked teams and a bowl loss? Insane Coaches Poll has them ahead of us. Horsecrap!

Yes, SEC is overrated. But fuck. Hard not to be overrated when you’re that overrated. If you catch my drift.

Now it’s up to Missouri and Auburn to confuse things.

How did Oklahoma only beat WVU by 9? We sucked nuts this year. I don’t root for conference rivals, but I was pulling for them a little.

Goodluck with that..

Trying to read my way through that article gave me a lazy left eye. It’s a bit outdated as the "Big East" is a part of the whole mess. I really do think this +1 system will be marginally better than the BCS system, but sports talk shows are going to be spending the entire summer and then the final three weeks of next season trying to explain to people how it actually works.

Personally, I think the BCS system was fine and almost every year, gave a true national champion. So this all seems unnecessary. The only seasons the BCS system left any doubt at all were the seasons that ended with three or more undefeated teams... which seldom occurred.

Seems like the new +1 system is only necessary due to the outcomes of three conferences’ regular seasons over the past several years:
The SEC
The AAC (Big East)
The Mountain West

Regardless, despite all the confusion involving host bowls, contract bowls and the transparency (or lack thereof) of the selection committee, it’ll give us an undisputed national champion. I hope people are happy with what they’ve been asking for.
