Bortles gone. Who’s next in line J? |
well, real random but I’m sitting next to Paul Richardson (WR and possibly the only stud player at Colorado) at Benihana in Anaheim right now. |
Originally posted by mgumby10 Losing a possible Top 10 draft pick QB is hard, but we have solid backups. They may not be able to do what Bortles did, but I think we’ll be okay... Justin Holman (3*) was our backup this year as a true freshman. He beat out other upper classman backups, like 4* Tyler Gabbert. Looked fine in mop-up duty. Pete DiNovo (3*) was a higher rated recruit and QB of the best 7-on-7 team in the state. He redshirted this year, will be a redshirt Freshman. Tyler Harris (3* Rivals, 4* ESPN) starts school this week. He’ll be a true freshman, but looks like a good one. A young bunch. A true sophmore, redshirt freshman, and true freshman. But, all of our receivers return, and I’d put our receivers against almost any in the country. This will help any QB. Rumor has it Storm Johnson is likely leaving as well, even though he is only projected as a 6th round pick. I think his backup, Stanback, is actually better than he is, and will be a true sophmore. The future is still bright. We might not match this year, but I think we’ll still be one of the best in the conference. If we run the conference, we’ll get another great bowl. |
Glory, glory, bump this mutha. |
Tyler Gabbert landed in Orlando? I wondered what happened to that dude. |

Originally posted by JoeinEscazú Yup. He quit down here, too, after he realized he wouldn’t see the field. He was at least 3rd on the depth chart, behind Bortles and true freshman Holman. |
Storm Johnson gone, too. I think Will Stanback is a better back anyway, and he will only be a true soph. |
Rapeis Winston won but he should never open his mouth. Yikes. |
