Should be good when I do my 2 months in Cupertino soon to let those two machines work hard while I’m gone.

Message sethdude beers 708 º places 17 º 11:42 Mon 12/16/2013 Well, the results of those tweaks I did last night are coming in. Keep in mind, this is the same hardware I’ve been running for a month: In 14 hrs, I’ve tripled my 24hr average. 10 hours to go, I can’t wait to see the result.

If you want to give me your GPU info, I can see what can be done to optimize it. For me, I set my GPU slots to advanced (FahCore 17 WUs). Nvidia cards in the 600-700 series are compatible with these WUs, as are many AMD cards. If your GPU is a Nvidia, rolling your driver back to 327.23 will help significantly. Even though I use my rig for gaming as well, it will take maybe 2 minutes on each end of a session to switch to the most current gaming driver, and back to the folding driver. If you don’t game, using a driver that optimizes folding is a no-brainer. We’ve all (myself included) gotten so accustomed to updating everything on the computer at each available opportunity, that we sometimes update to versions that aren’t optimal for our useage.
