Bouteille achetée Au Grain d’Orge - De couleur brune avec des reflets rubis et une mousse beige massive et onctueuse qui ne veut pas redescendre - Au nez des notes de fumé, de cendres, des note de malt caramel et ambré, des notes de houblons résineux et fruité presque agrumeuse - En bouche de la fumée très présente, du houblon cette fois je peux dire que c’est agrumeux, un peu de caramel - Corp léger, un peu aqueuse, amertume moyenne bien intégrée, carbonation correcte, douce et fumée, final douce et fumée - Impressionnant, j’aime tout particulièrement ce genre de combinaison très bien réalisée par deux excellent brasserie suisse

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2015 330ml bottle served in a pint glass. Delicious smoked IPA. Pours a hazy dark amber to brown color forming a medium, creamy and solid beige head with great persistence and lots of thin molasses lacings left in the glass. Nose is sweet, fruity, smoked and flowery. Caramel malts, rotten dark fruits, roasted malts, bacon and grassy hops. Light notes of dark chocolate and coffee beans. Hints of milk and diacetyl. Taste follows the nose. Slightly sweet upfront. Fruity, smoked and grassy. Caramel and roasted malts, dry dark fruits and grassy hops. Intense and persistent hops bitterness which is well balanced with the smoked notes. Full body. Medium carbonation. Sweet, grassy and smoked aftertaste. Excellent drinkability. Great stuff. Expected quality from both Bad Attitude and Storm&Anchor breweries.

Almost no head; red-brown beer. Faintly smoked, and indeed, delicate fruit, plus faintly hops, with grapefruit//passion fruit. Smoked, phenolic, bitterness from the hops, less fruity than the nose. Baked pisang, smoked. Medium bodied, light feel but not watery. Nice original and intriguing beer.

On tap at Hako anniversary. Smoky aroma of intense bacon, imagine standing at a barbeque. Same in taste, but with clear hops. Well done, Tom!

Clear darkish brown with light brown foam. The smell has the obligatory coffee aromas and roasty bacon nose. The taste is smokey complex with coffee and chocolate, but even more berry fruit flavors. The aftertaste is less dry than expected. Very nice beer.

Dark amber color with big head, good lacing. Lightly smoked, dry bready malts, nice hopping, berries! Taste is light smoke, nice berries, bitter finish. A real winner! Typical S&A though. Incredible balance with the fruit for a smoke beer.
