Fruity nose with notes of citrus, pink grapefruit, blackberries, barnyard, oak wood and a touch of vinegar. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, pink grapefruit, blood orange, blackberries, oak wood, barnyard and a dry and tart finish. Low bitterness. Medium body, dry. Solid and well made. Fresh acidity. Balanced fruit character. Great beer!

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2024 Pour at Dark Fields of Winter. Pours hazy copper. Aroma has barnyard, some citrus, and sour cherry. Flavour is quite mouth-puckering with notes of plum, sour cherries, and raspberries. Good balance of barn, sour, and fruit.

Il cappello di schiuma è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di aspetto pesantemente velato. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto, con sour pesante. La forza gustativa è elevata e la continuità gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di resina, frutta secca, agrumi, pompelmo, arancia amara, mandarino, erbe aromatiche, frutta disidratata, rabarbaro, acetico, uva passa, mais cotto, salsa di soia e more.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2023 Pours opaque plum with a minimal head. Aroma yields tart and sweet blackberries plus fresh malt. Flavor offers tart blackberries with a bit of fresh malt. Texture furnishes decent body and peppy fizz. Drink more Tilquin.
