During my afternoon trip to take my 90 year old Mom to visit her older sister’s graves (they died in 1969 and 1974) in the old Kernville Cemetery, a Kern River Citra paired with their Black Bean Soup OTD (my Mom had no beer but had a Class V Stout Brownie served warm with ice cream and chocolate sauce). Now I am starting on a growler of their 2 Hop Collaboration IPA (now called 2 Hop Session IPA at the brewpub). |
Had a bottle of The Bruery Saison de Lente. It was delicious! |
Morning Richard and Jay =) |
Bundaberg Rum. Man, is this good! |
Originally posted by Bill Becker Bill! I can’t find the gumption to make myself any dinner. I am so bored from this damn winter. I had a Busch beer today. |
I liked the old Busch Bavarian from many years back but that one was a one and done deal for me. |
Originally posted by Bill Becker I could live without this one. Next macro I try I think I want to try either Foster’s or Sapporo. But tomorrow I am having Hop Bloem from ithaca Beer. =) |
I gave them a 3.5 and 3.4 respectively.(Sapporo Reserve in the neat can) I predict you will like Sapporo more. The Foster brothers were Yanks, if you already didn’t know. :^) |
Originally posted by Bill Becker I actually chose those two beers to try next because fo the can . Fosters because of the nice blue color and sapporo because of the nice silver. Of course i am also choosing those for tasting because they are avaialable in singles at the grocery in tallboys. |
That Fosters can is actually a 750ml. The "original" Tall Boy came from Schlitz...24oz. I still have a can from back in the day. |
