80 nice knowledgeable crew, nice selection of beers, no food tasting only
beers, close to central station, no music! Is getting expensive though. |
80 Old, rustic place that smells like burnt rubber. 18 taps, all available in 0.15L pours for reasonable enough prices given the beers on offer—though they do seem a bit inflated for some things. They also had Good King Henry on cask. Extensive bottle selection too with plenty of the standard lambics you’ll find all over Belgium, as well as nicely selected bottles from elsewhere. Definitely worth a stop in Amsterdam. |

94 Een van de beste en leukste café's in de stad, zo niet de beste. Een oase van rust (geen muziek) en deskundige medewerkers. |

82 Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Nice classic old-school bar in the center of Amsterdam. Maybe 15 beers on tap (mostly dutch abut also UK). I saw belgian beers on bottles (classics and gueuze/kriek/lambics). I tasted there 2 dutch beers on tap from Oedipus and Jopen. Friendly staff. Ok price. I had a good time there. Just before the brett festival ; I guess the beer menue was fantastic. |
76 Nice spot in the center of Amsterdam. If you are lucky enough to snatch a table outside on a nice day it’s an amazing spot to people watch. Meat and cheese platter was fantastic. They had a nice cellar list (upon request) but we stuck to the wide variety of local brews they had on tap. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a good place to grab a beer if you’re nearby. |
