I really did like this one, back in the day. The kind of beer you found on in a JDW and spent the whole evening going through five or six pints. Bloody smooth, full bodied and just that bit smokey. It’s the kind of beer that made you want to blow off your friend’s 21st birthday party for.

Deep black body with a small, thick, vanishing beige head. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate and smoked ham. Taste is bitter, with lots of chocolate, licorice, coffee again and leaves a very pleasant smokey note on the tongue. Medium body, flat/soft carbontion, oily texture.
