Again smoke, almost as if Rauchmalze was used; finish is more lactic acid, with farmyard, lemon(rind). Good carbonation; present if mild acidburn and -thinning. Sweet, obvious whisky, very modeste farmyard, but a bit burning backthroat. Sharp acidburning, acidthinning, good carbonation - the more as the sample is end of the bottle. yngwie	3.9 3 Fonteinen Oude Kirsebaer Bottle, 75cl corked. Thx a lot for sharing this one bergstaden. An unclear deep reddish colored beer with close to no head. There's lots of cherry on the nose, some marsipan and a dash of lemon and funk. It's full bodied and tart, nicely carbonated and with lots of cherry flavor. biilz	4.1 *3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze Vintage (all from 2002-)** Аромат хороший, сразу весьма травянистый, очень много сена с цитрусами, немного как будто специй, типо шиповника. Цвет чуть более мутный чем обычно, пенки почти нету. Вкус хороший, сбалансированный, очень много цитрусов, прям кислинка от нее, сено и сново немного специй. Возможно намеки на крыжовник. ClarkVV	4 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston Vintage 375mL bottled November 21, 2019, drunk May 27, 2024. Clear, bright brassy-gold. Small, white head, steadily fading to ring. Nose has excellent minerality and moderate funk, but no real intense farmy/poopy character, per usual. Round fruits with big red apple and light stone fruit abound. There's a bit more lactic character here, giving a nice balance and some intensity to the overall culture character. Moderate, fruity, engaging brett. Similar flavors, with possibly even less lactic character than the nose. Mostly round red fruits, moderate fruity brett tartness and good malt and wheat to the texture. Low, but engaging, tight carbonation, lingering must and mineral. Just so soft, easygoing and mellow. I wouldn't hate some more sourness. Tuesday, May 28, 2024

The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, sharp, tangy, vinous, balsamic vinegar, strawberry, light acidity, cola, cherry cola, raisin, sultana, lactic, tangy, light alcohol, damp oak and some leathery tannin witt a drying finish.
