Taking the train down with DrewBeerme and Frank. Looking to split a room with anyone else looking to split. Otherwise I might just couchsurf. |
Just wanted to give a heads up to those coming, our store has a metro link stop in our parking lot. So if you are without a car and want to do some beer shopping. It is the Forsyth stop in Clayton. |

The Wine and Cheese Place is awesome. For anyone traveling, you guys can also order ahead of time online (within a week or less) and pick up in store to save a little time. Then you can do a quick browse while you’re there for anything new within that week. Great place, helpful staff. |
Originally posted by pcerebralJust to let everyone know, this store is well worth a stop. They have plenty of local beers available that likely won’t be seen outside of the area. Great people work there, too. |
Looks like both wine and scotch tastings on friday along with beer according to a few sources. Awesome. |
Yes, we will have wine out and probably some spirits also. |
The Wine and Cheese Place is next to a Metro stop as well, so even if you don’t have a car, you can get to it quite easily. |
Seriously folks, why hasn’t the packages sold out? |
Originally posted by BBB63 Good question. I’ve gotten a number of messages and emails recently asking how to buy, where to buy, when to buy, and so forth. Maybe awareness is the issue? Doesn’t seem like many are paying attention to this thread or the Event page. I didn’t want to be sold out at this point - they’ll be available to a larger audience (basically anyone) on Thursday, and I want everyone who wants to attend to be able to go. Plenty of packages remain, but they’ll start going more quickly on Thursday. So it would be wise to make your reservation sooner than later if you’re still interested. Keep in mind that reservations are transferrable, even though they’re non-refundable. Also keep in mind that packages include a bottle from Side Project or Perennial. People are currently trading beer worth the entire amount of a package ($100-$180) for their beers, and yet here’s an opportunity to get not only a bottle, but a 5-brewery bus tour/tasting with award-winning BBQ lunch, grand tasting (massive bottle share) with ~18 local brewers pouring and all-night buffet, dinner with special beers poured by 5 brewers, glass, and shirt. That’s the deal of a lifetime, people. |
