A blind date? I’m nervous.

RBSG 2014 packages go on sale Thursday, April 10. I will post in this thread on the morning of April 10 stating that sales are open. Non-local RateBeer members may make reservations beginning immediately after my post. St. Louis-based RB members (with accounts active since January 1, 2014 or earlier) may make reservations beginning Thursday, April 24th. All other RB members will be able to buy a la carte (and any remaining packages, if available) beginning Thursday, May 1.

If not included in your package or if you want extras, you may order shirts and glasses through Thursday, May 29; there is no limit on these. All other sales will end when capacity is reached or on June 12, whichever comes first.

The only way to reserve a special release bottle from Perennial or Side Project is to order one of the Packages listed below. There will be 80 bottles available, so all sales will shift to A La Carte-only when this limit is reached. Bottles must be claimed in person; no holds, no shipping, and no bottles given to "plus-ones" who do not attend.

All sales will be through Paypal. Please send the correct order amount to peterthale@gmail.com as "I’m sending money to family or friends." If using a verified account, there should be no fee. If you are not using a verified account or otherwise have a fee, please check "I will pay the fee," before sending your payment. We will not be paying any Paypal fees. Your order will be bumped to the back of the line and you will be refunded the order amount minus fees if you pass fees along to us.

Your payment is your reservation. We will not accept reservations without payment. No exceptions.

Upon making your reservation via Paypal, please send phaleslu a RateBeer message confirming your reservation details, including your first and last name, email address, Package and/or A La Carte order, order amount, shirt size(s), and any other information you think I’ll need. This is to make sure all Paypal orders can be matched to user names. No more than two Package reservations may be made per RB user name.

Pricing is as follows:

Packages (limited to 80 total)
Silver: Bus + Grand Tasting + Bottle + Tasting Glass: $100
Gold: Bus + Grand Tasting + Bottle + Tasting Glass + Shirt: $115
Platinum: Bus + Brewer Dinner + Grand Tasting + Bottle + Tasting Glass: $165
White Whale: Bus + Brewer Dinner + Grand Tasting + Bottle + Tasting Glass + Shirt: $180

A La Carte
Bus: $40 (limited to 100)
Dinner: $65 (limited to 50)
Grand Tasting: $50 (limited to 130)
Shirt: $15 (no limit)
Tasting Glass: $5 (no limit)

Is the package refundable or at least transferable in case I can’t make it?

EDIT: Yes for transfers, no for refunds. Send me a private message to make arrangements if this happens.

For everyone, not you specifically, please don’t make a reservation unless you plan on attending really think you can make it. Given the amount of payments I will be processing, I don’t have much wiggle room before there are tax implications. I don’t want to process extra payments back and forth, and therefore will only be doing transfers.
