HerrBierkoenig	4.4 Brodies / Mikkeller Big Mofo Stout 0,33l bottle from my personal archive, stored in a refrigerated box for approx. 10-11 years, Pours opaque dark brown to black liquid, small persistant tan to brown head, Aroma: intensive liquorice, red fruits, hopy/ citrus& cascade notes, dark chocolate, hints of caramel, roasted barley, Taste: medium sweet, medium bitter, light to medium sour, liquorice, red fruits, hopy citrus and grapefruit notes, dark malts, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, hints of caramel, Palate: full body, soft to flat carbonation, thick oily to creamy mouthfeel, long fruity liquorice and coffee aftertaste, Overall: extremely good beer, layered and complexe, sutprisingly fruity- citrusy- hopy after all these years waiting and bottled in a bottle with crown cork! HogTownHarry	2.6 Brodies Topaz Pale Ale September 21, 2022 - at Old Coffee House - on handpull cask. Slightly hazy gold, small bubbly head. Sour, dishwater wan sort of sweet aroma (6- Brodies). Taste is actually a little worse, dishwater with vague bitterness, I guess there's alcohol, ehhh. Thin, still mouthfeel, it aspires to a bit of unpleasant harshness but fails to achieve even that. Well, was good to drop in for a beer, the pub is still as it always was, but the beer ... next time might just get an indifferent Guinness. Saturday, February 24, 2024

minutemat	2.8 Brodies Old Street Pale Ale Keg @ Wobbly Brewery, Hereford (brewed on-site). Pours a hazed golden amber, white head. Brewed here. Quite a malty pale.. bit too murky in the glass.. hoppy caramel, not as citrussy as envisioned. On too long perhaps? I sense the original probably didn't taste like this. Sunday, December 10, 2023

Well balances taste profile of citrus and crystal malts. Malt-fruity bitterness to the ending. Drinks well. Pretty nice. Good to see the brewery back again! (Birmingham 13.02.2023).
