St Peters Golden Ale
From Club del Gourmet of El Corte Ingles El Duque. In Ikea?s pint glass. After dinner. Both sweet and bitter, with the typical english earthy bitterness a bit above the sweetness hiding the watery texture well. Very drinkable. Nasty aspect though, without any foam

St Peters Best Bitter
From Club del Gourmet of El Corte Ingles El Duque. In Ikea’s pint glass. After dinner. Very bitter, with a earthy bitterness that at first I wasn’t sure if I liked but I ended up enjoying it. Low carbonation, a bit more would improve it, as it feels a bit flat because of it,

St Peters Black IPA
Bottle, bought @ Vinspecialisten, Kolding Storcenter. Pours deep brown to black with a small, staying, creamy white head. Aroma has mild grassy and citrussy hops, light raisin, mild roasted, mild chocolate. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has light roasted malts, dark chocolate, mild warming sensation. Fairly bitter with some citrussy freshness. But still a bit unbalanced overall.4

St Peters Black IPA
Keg @ Jerusalem Tavern, London. Black with a very thin off-white creamy head. Its dark and roasted malts are arguably dominant over its tropical fruit notes expected in this style, but they’re not top much so. It’s a fairly tasty balance in reality.

Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő hab, vörös szín. Nem túl intenzív, amber ale-es illat. Keserű, enyhén amber ale-es, kissé csípős, fűszeres ízvilág. Ahogy melegszik, előbukkan egy kis alkoholos mellékíz. Utóíze keserű és semmi más. Testes sör.

Keg @ Jerusalem Tavern. Light amber pour with a modest white head. Nose is fairly neutral. Light bread. A bit of red berry skin and pear. A touch of toffee. Flavor is balanced, lightly sweet. Fairly bready. Faint hint of grass on the finish. Mild mannered and inoffensive. Light body, pillowy carb. Meh.

Almost clear but very dark brown beer, thin tan head. Palate is smooth, mildly dry and has modest carbonation. Decent dark malts here, light but fairly rich. Mild roast and a little dark chocolate. Modest dark fruits. The smooth finish brings strong floral bitterness which just about earns it it’s CDA credentials. Mellow coffee linger. Decent.

St Peters Golden Ale

Utóíze a korty folytatása. Testes, kellemes ital.

St Peters Honey Porter
Unfortunately this beer looks nice, but tastes horrible. Aroma is as mentioned before beeswax, sweet and tobacco. Extremely unbalanced, smells like I imagine a beehive smelling. Taste is on par and even worse. Watery mouthfeel but then it starts getting horrible, artificial, beeswaxiness, tastes like it has gone off. Finish is disgusting. Like licking a tyre. Eugh. Disappointing, I usually like their beers.

St Peters Honey Porter
The aroma is quite pleasant, very dark honey and almost no stout/beer aroma. Appearance is nice, classic porter style. The taste is terrible, unfortunately - it tastes as though somebody dropped in loads of tabacco and beeswax by accident, it is not sweet at all (surprising for a honey beer), very roasty, but not in a good way, more in a really bitter way, which also defines a long not-so-pleasant aftertaste. I am not sure who will really like this.

Közepes, tartós hab, fekete szín. Pörkölt malátás, kávés, kissé kakaós illat. Pörkölt malátás, feketecsokis ízvilág. Utóíze pörkölt kesernye, pici csoki, nem túl hosszú. Fincsi klasszikus porter, a könnyed és a közepes testesség határán.

St Peters Ruby Red Ale
Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, vörös szín. Amber ales illatvilág, kissé a karamelles irányba eltolódva. Amber ales alap, de jóval keserűbb, és kevesebb a zöldséges vonás. Nem rossz, de még mindig nem a kedvencem ez a stílus. Utóíze a korty folytatása. Közepesen testes.

Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, élénk borostyán szín. Illata halovány, leginkább malátás, pici komlóval. Markáns keserű, malátás alapon, jellegzetes ESB. Komoly szénsav és némi fűszeresség jellemzi még. Utóíze jó hosszú keserű. Kellemes, jól iható itóka.

500ml bottle. Almost black with a two finger brown head, dissipating quickly. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and some dark fruit, bit of liquorice too I think. St Peters Black IPA
330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Black colour with a minimal dark tan head. Aroma of malts, dark fruits, plum, raisin, chocolate, caramel, roast, coffee. Taste follows suit, bittersweet with a rich malty fruity flavour, and bitter notes from chocolate, coffee and of course the hops, you do notice the alcohol a little too. The IPA part of this is definitely the British style rather than American. Very smooth drinking beer with a slick mouthfeel. Good stuff.

This was just bitter, unclean, badly balanced, and way too expensive. I had this at a pub and sent half of it back because it started leaving a really bad taste in my mouth - something I’ve never done before. Strong bitter and herbal notes, unbalanced and almost like something’s off. Nope, not my thing.

ASPETTO: marrone molto scuro, praticamente impenetrabile a bicchiere pieno. Schiuma marroncino chiaro, fine, poco abbondante e poco persistente. Corpo leggero, carbonizzazione media. CONCLUSIONE: birra pulita e ben fatta, che disseta e dŕ soddisfazioni.

Comes in St Peter’s classically cool old school medicine bottle. Cool label too. I had no idea what type of beer this was going in. Pours rather dark amber with a fleeting barely-there head. Lots of dark malt and some dark fruit. Fruity mellow hops keep it in balance. Nice sugared plum meets juicy fruit gum finish.

Bottle from supermarket. I had high expectations to this beer. After opening the bottle and getting the aroma, I knew I am not going to like it. The beer didn’t give much of a head while being poured to a glass. Taste had too much honey for me, not good at all.
