UPDATED: APR 24, 2024 11.2 oz bottle from Trader Joe's in Tustin, CA. I bought this specifically for German Beer Day 2024. Light yeasty aroma from a beautiful crystal clear light yellow body with a foamy white head. Toasty, cracker malt flavor, followed by crisp, leafy, earthy hop bitterness. This is followed by a more bready malt flavor and that creaminess that German lagers are known for. The body is light but perfectly matched with the flavors. All of these flavors seem to build with each sip to make this more tasty as you go. There's a light sweetness but it's just barely there under the toasted malt and hops which is good here. The balance in this beer is excellent and obviously intended. Finishes with a lasting fresh bitterness on the tongue and roof of the mouth and lingering bready malt. I liked this beer a lot more than I thought I would, and this would be a go-to for an anytime Pilsener. Happy German Beer Day 2024, everyone!!

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2024 Pours clear, bright golden with a two finger, white head. Aroma is caramel and bread. Taste is caramel, moving to bread. Finish is sweet bread.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2024 0.33 bottle from Spar, St. Julian, Malta. From the bottle on the streets of Mellieha. Mild hoppy aroma. Taste refreshing, hoppy, easy, light bodied. Perfect for good quality refreshing.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2024 It's a nice drinkable pilsner. Expensive for the 11.2 oz bottle so not really worth it when you can get better ones for cheaper. Good.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2024 o,33 l bottle. Pours straw yellow with medium, rocky, lasting white head. Aroma is very light, a bit of pilsner malt, sweetish with a hint of cardboard. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, carbonation pleasant. Finish is short, a hint of bitterness and that's about it. Not much in terms of taste, but that also makes it unoffensive I guess.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2023 Can at the flat in Sofia - picked up from Billa. Pours clear yellow, effervescent, with a modest, foamy white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of crisp cereal, light biscuity notes, soft bitter straw, white bread accents. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean to finish, more biscuits, cereal, straw. Very drinkable.
