They froze us again.
Didn’t Miami win yesterday?
Makes no sense that they’ve fallen from the last four in to the first eight out.
Ah well, Joe Lunardi isn’t the actual committee, so Miami could still have a shot. They could also win their way back in during the ACC tournament.

Yeah, finished 9-7 in ACC. Prolly gonna take a win and maybe two in the tourney to get a bid

This is it. Conference tournament week. Good luck to everyone’s teams in their conference tournaments!
Here are the NCAA Div. 1 men’s college basketball RPI rankings for teams of interest as of Monday, March 5th, 2012.
More-so than the AP poll and USA Today coaches poll, the RPI is the best gauge of where your team stands in relation to being invited to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and its subsequent seeding.
I have also separated the teams into two groups. Those who would probably make the NCAA Tournament field of 68 (according to Joe Lunardi) if today were Selection Sunday and those who would probably not make the NCAA Tournament field of 68 (according to Joe Lunardi) if today were selection Sunday.
Of note: Obviously, if your team wins its conference tournament this week, it receives an automatic invitation to the NCAA Tournament despite its RPI ranking or its ranking in the AP and USA Today coaches polls.
RPI ranking (strength of schedule ranking) - Day of next conference tournament game:
CURRENTLY IN
#1 Syracuse (26) - Thursday
#8 Ohio State (10) - Friday
#15 Missouri (80) - Thursday
#24 Florida State (12) - Friday
#27 Florida (37) - Friday
#32 Alabama (20) - Thursday
#43 West Virginia (13) - Wednesday
#45 South Florida (24) - Wednesday
#62 Mississippi State (67) - Thursday
CURRENTLY OUT
#53 Miami (41) - Thursday
#61 UCF (93) - Thursday
#90 LSU (62) - Thursday
#133 Iowa (72) - Thursday
#141 Auburn (74) - Thursday
#159 Penn State (31) - Thursday
#191 South Carolina (40) - Thursday
DEFINITELY IN
DEFINITELY OUT
#77 George Mason (179) - Sunday (lost)

Fail.. as usual.
It’s truly pathetic that you think you can make fun of anyone else’s program.

Ok. Let’s talk football. Let’s talk about how West Virginia actually won a bunch of games, went to the Orange Bowl and scored a bowl game record 70 points against the ACC champs.
UCF didn’t.

While it was awesome watching you guys destroy Clemson, don’t act like you beat a good team.

Good enough to win the ACC... for what that’s worth.
In winning the Sugar, Fiesta and Orange Bowls, WVU beat conference champs each time instead of at-large invites.
