But I personally only see the Big Ten jumping to 14 right now, if they are forced to expand to keep up. |
Rumors out there that the SEC has turned down WVU. Also rumors that they have now applied to the ACC. I’m hoping this is true as we’ve already added shitty ass Syracuse, we don’t need more shitty football schools. |
"In 2010 Perlman stated that had Nebraska not been part of the AAU, the Big Ten would likely not have invited it to become the athletic conference’s 12th member.[2]" |
That’s good, at least from the Big Ten’s perspective about WVU.. possibly eating up an ACC spot (Which would maybe go to Rutgers otherwise). |

Originally posted by mgumby10 You know Wendy and I’d be there. There never was much of a WVU/Miami rivalry because Miami won every time we met except twice. The games got really closely contested there in the early to mid-2000s. I’d love WVU to get back to playing Va. Tech too. That’s a really old rivalry. |

It really sucks that all of this is going on during the season. Like the athletes don’t already have enough on their minds with practice, games and classes. It’s sort of childish for these administrators not to have done this over the summer or not to wait until next summer. Heck, high school recruits are all probably wondering what the heck is going on and a lot may be rethinking their commitments when they find out their families won’t be able to see their road games unless they drive or fly 2000 miles. |
