I’m fairly certain that every single time I’ve picked West Virginia or Iowa to win against the spread this year, I’ve lost. Adam.....Eric.....I officially cannot figure your teams out. |
Originally posted by Beerlando Iowa never wins big and generally never loses big (today being the exception). The spread and Iowa are not friends. |

It was fun to see Iowa in Lincoln today but Im glad we came away with the W. Looking forward to establishing a new day after thanksgiving rival. |
Originally posted by Beerlando That makes two of us, but that’s to be expected with an entirely new offensive staff working with someone else’s recruits. Our defense was decimated after almost all of last year’s defense graduated and/or is on NFL rosters. These two things do not smile upon WVU vs The Spread. I’ve watched it all season and yet I still didn’t learn my lesson and picked WVU to cover the spread yet again; so, yeah, I feel ya. Still, I’ll take 8-3 with a chance at our 7th consecutive 9 or more wins season. |
The season’s basically over and WVU leads by a wide margin as the team who racked up the most yards (533) against LSU. Only Oregon scored more points against them (27). |

Originally posted by hopscotch I’d party with Hologorsen. Sure, his bald mullet is very child molestor-ish, but who doesnt like a guy who gets drunk and kicked out of casinos? The answer...nobody. |
Go, Cincy, go! |
Ok, Cincy won. Now, WVU needs to beat South Florida and Cincy needs to be UCONN and we’re in the Orange Bowl or whatever BCS bowl has to invite us. Hopefully, the Orange because I can easily attend it. |
