Because it was good for them financially SEC West Bowl Record 2-5 (only the 2 worst teams won). The dialogue about that division being so strong that everyone is ranked is another lie that hopefully is now corrected going forward. Big Ten underdogs in all 10 of their bowl matchups.. 5-4. Big 12 has gone 1-4 (only TCU won).. weakest Power 5.

If this season proved anything, it’s that we will never find out who the best team is as long as money is running the show on ESPN.
